Only six months into the Wind Evolution contract with Hughes Subsea, an OEG Renewables company, CBED is pleased to share that this contract has been extended one year and thereby will run until January 2026. Earlier this year, CBED announced the first project for the newly acquired CSOV, Wind Evolution, with Hughes Subsea. CBED has signed a contract with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy for their new SOV, Wind Creation’s, first project as part of the CBED fleet. With this new walk-to-work project, the SOV joins commissioning an offshore wind farm in the Netherlands. The project commences end of Q2 2024 and runs for the remainder of the year, thereby securing full activity for Wind Creation until Q1 2025. CBED expands fleet with two new SOVs: Wind Evolution and Wind Creation
The Danish shipowning company, CBED, specialised in tailor-made offshore accommodation solutions for the offshore energy sector, acquires two new vessels. The two new SOVs, Wind Evolution and Wind Creation, are expected to be delivered end of Q1 2024 and join the CBED fleet which since 2008 have worked on 31 individual offshore wind projects in Northern Europe. As of 26 April 2017, Wind Solution is off to Southern UK to complete C-bed’s 20th individual offshore wind farm project. As of March 2016, the C-bed vessel Wind Solution is off to the German North Sea and the DanTysk offshore wind farm on a maintenance assignment.
