Wind Evolution
Wind Evolution has room to accommodate 60 clients living comfortably onboard. The customised walk-to-work vessel offers a motion compensated gangway and Kongsberg DP2 system, allowing for safe transfers to and from offshore installations.
The SOV is equipped with a 50 tonnes AHC and 5 tonnes 3D motion compensated crane.
Wind Evolution also include onboard offices and conference rooms allowing for seamless operations, as well as offering leisure time activities such as a fitness room, cinema, TV lounge and gaming facilities.
In combination, this allows our clients seamless operation in a home away from home.

Contract extension for CBED’s Wind Evolution until January 2026
Only six months into the Wind Evolution contract with Hughes Subsea, an OEG Renewables company, CBED is pleased to share that this contract has been extended one year and thereby will run until January 2026. Earlier this year, CBED announced the first project for the newly acquired CSOV, Wind Evolution, with Hughes Subsea.
